To all our friends and computer club members at Fun N Sun, we were looking forward to returning to Fun N Sun in December as usual, when we hit a serious snag. Sharon's mother Ruth suddenly had trouble using her legs. While in the hospital looking for the leg problem they discovered a Thoracic aortic aneurysym (the same kind that killed John Ritter). Ruth underwent surgery to remove the anuerysym and that was successful, unfortunately, they missed a couple of bleeders and had to do another 3 hour surgery that evening. Needless to say 2 surgeries lasting a total of 7 1/2 hours was a lot for a 79 year old. She has been very slow to recover and they still have not addressed the weakness in the legs. The surgeon said the aneurysym had nothing to do with the leg problem.

So at this time we have to say we will make it to Texas if possible but it's not looking too good right now. We are still reserving our lot for this year and we haven't given up hope yet. Everyone say a prayer for Ruth's recovery, and if she can get in and out of the motorhome, who knows maybe she'll accompany us to Fun N Sun.
