TOMATO PLANTS PLANTED

Pam has been pushing me to get the tomato plants planted so there will be some ripe ones before we leave in the spring for Wisconsin. Pam gave me three Earthboxes for my birthday and I brought them down here to plant my tomatoes. Now to see if I can keep the birds and neighbors away.

COMPUTER FOR SALE

I bought a Dell with a DVD burner but decided since I don't use DVDs, I don't need it. It was too good a deal to pass up though. It has 256MB DDR memory, 40 GB hard drive and a DVD+R/+RW burner for $470.

DIET PROGRESS

This summer I went to the doctor for a checkup and still had high triglycerides and the doctor wanted to put me on a cholesterol lowering drug. He also said I needed to get down to below 190 pounds. I asked if I lost the weight if I could skip the drugs and he said that would work, so I started my diet to go from 235 pounds to 185. So far I have gotten down to 196 when I had my triglycerides checked again. They went from 350 down to 146. I still have a ways to go, but I am making progress. One of the things I found that helped was a body mass calculator that told what weight equaled what percentage body fat. It also told the calories and grams for losing or maintaining that weight.
