TRACFONE CHANGES TERMS OF SERVICE
Without any notification, Tracfone has changed from allowing you to go without service for four months without losing your accumulated minutes, to only 60 days. The problem is not so much the reduction but that by not notifying customers, they don't find out until they lose their minutes. I lost 218 minutes.

PARK TO GET T-1 TELEPHONE LINE
Darrell Harmon, the manager, said the corporation has approved getting a T-1 line for FunNSun. A T-1 line provides high speed internet access. This will speed up service in the office as their transactions are over the internet. It will also provide lines for the room behind the activity office for computers to be put in by the organization that provided the Harlingen Library computer lab. It can also be used for connecting a wireless high speed access system for the park. For more information on T-1 lines, go to:

LINE DANCE POTLUCK SUNDAY
There will be a line dance potluck in the dance hall December 14. Everyone is welcome. Bring a dish to pass, beverage and table service. Eat at 1, dance 2 - 4 PM.

AUTO WATERING FOR MY TOMATO PLANTS
I was watering my tomato plants every day in hot weather, so I hooked up a watering system using a five gallon bucket. I fill the bucket once a week, and the plants always have water.

THE TASTE OF LA FRONTERIA
I have the tickets. It is Monday, Jan 19 at the University in Brownsville. It is a fund raiser for Charro Days. Tickets are $10 in advance and it is all you can eat and drink presented by the Brownsville, Matamoros and South Padre Island restaurants. Some of the booths were: Budweiser, Rudy's BBQ, Cristy's Cake Shop, Bigo's Bar and Grill, Peso Bill's, Johnny Carino's, Chili's Grill, Cobblehead's, Vermillion Restaurant, The Old Bridge Grill, Antonio's, La Froje, Linda's Cakes, The Toucan Lounge, Elva's Restaurant.

BEGINNERS COMPUTER WINDOWS 98 CLASS EXTRA SESSION
I will be teaching the Beginners Windows 98 class Friday, Dec 12, as an extra session to add hands on practice. Bring your mouse and if your laptop does not have a floppy drive, try to bring an external floppy drive. Everyone is welcome.
