LONG TERM CARE INSURANCE NOT SO GOOD

I saw an article in the November Consumer Reports that gave bad marks to Long Term Care insurance unless you are at high risk. You might want to read the article before investing a lot of money. They didn't mention much about divesting money to be eligible for Medicaid, which would be a better plan for many. I will include information on divesting in the next NewsNotes.

AWESOMENET STILL PROVIDING GREAT SERVICE

Someone asked about getting internet service and I passed along Awesomenet as a service that many of us use for only $10 a month. John even uses their service on the road with his Sam's Club Calling Card to call long distance to get his E-mail. Their phone number for service is 1-888-408-8506. Don't forget to give a referral. Instructions for using the Sam's Club Card are at:

LEARN TO PLAY AN INSTRUMENT ONLINE

The Berklee College of Music has lessons online. There are bass,

guitar, winds and drums, and others. There are even lessons on song writing. It is free. Go to: http://www.berkleeshares.com/faq

WIRELESS USB ADAPTER W/CORD

In the last NewsNotes I mentioned the benefit of buying a wireless USB Adapter so you could place it for the best wireless reception. I failed to mention it needs to be the corded one, they now have one that just plugs into your computer which would not provide the benefit of positioning for best signal.
