OUR TANDEM
My parents gave us their tandem 10 speed in the eighties but we only rode it a few times. I put some new tires on it and we have rode it again once. I put a picture on our home page.

TASTE OF LA FRONTERA
Monday, Jan 17 at the University in Brownsville. Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door and it is all you can eat and drink presented by the Brownsville, Matamoros and South Padre Island restaurants. Some of the booths last year were: Budweiser, Rudy's BBQ, Cristy's Cake Shop, Bigo's Bar and Grill, Peso Bill's, Johnny Carino's, Chili's Grill, Cobblehead's, Vermillion Restaurant, The Old Bridge Grill, Antonio's, La Froje, Linda's Cakes, The Toucan Lounge, Elva's Restaurant. Last year over 80 people went from FunNSun. Pam and I will be helping serve the free beer and soda, there will be free wine and margaritas also.

COMPUTER LAB
Work continues on getting computers with high speed internet access set up in room 8. E-mail access, web surfing and classes are anticipated and will be arranged after the room is ready for use. I will put any information I have in the NewsNotes. For information before that, check with the Activity Office.

FUNNSUN RV RESORT PHOTO DIRECTORY
To solve the problem of Pam telling me a man with gray hair and glasses came to the motor home, a group of us are working on a directory with pictures of as many people as we can take. This year will be a start, getting as many photos as we can and determining a format. Our goal is to have a printed edition and an edition on CD. Definitely a work in progress.

MOVIE MAKING AT FUNNSUN
From Bruce Nelson:
The computer club movie project is underway. The first scenes were shot last Saturday. This Sunday, Jan16, scene 5 will be shot in Bruce's Kitchen. Scene 4 will be shot a week later on location at the Harlingen Elks Club. The crew will continue to meet at the Computer club on Tuesdays at 9 AM.
