COMPUTER ROOM USE
Many people come to the park without their computer or have a desktop and no phone line. It would be nice if we had the room open a few hours a week when it was not used for classes so they could get on line with the club computers. This would require a volunteer to keep the room open. If we had enough volunteers it could be once a month per volunteer.

SURFING THE WEB CLASS MONDAY NIGHT
There will be a web surfing class Monday night 6 to 8 PM in room 5.

OFFICE DEPOT HAD PAPER FOR 96 CENTS
Went to the Office depot in Harlingen and McAllen and both were just about out of their printer paper at 96 cents a ream. I asked and they said when they are out they are out. I saw Jan going into the Harlingen store so I bought some extra in McAllen in case Jan didn't get one.

MORE IDEAS FOR THE CLUB
Have a Tips and Tricks 10 minute demo each week along with the Help and Questions segment to show handy shortcuts, how to, etc.
Split the magazines between the library and the club room, people could read while waiting for help on Mondays.
Have a library of disks for people to borrow or use while there to load free downloads discussed at the meeting (Adobe Acrobat Reader, Windows power toys, etc.)
Have a selection of items available that people would not have to purchase a whole box of an item (photo paper, blank CD's, CD labels, CD envelopes, business card sheets, greeting card stock, etc.) that would save a trip to the store. I have some business card stock and CD envelopes to donate, maybe others would have some items to donate too. I could loan my CD stomper for use with the labels. Ask for nominal donations based on cost (10¢ for CD's, etc.) to cover more purchases. Leave out on table on honor system.

FURR'S $5 AFTER 5 PM
We went to Furr's for the $5 buffet. It is normally $5.99 for seniors, but 99 cents off is good. We enjoy their food but it does not help the cowboy shirt diet. All you can eat is baaad.
