BEGINNERS LAPTOP CLASS
I will start a beginners computing class for those with laptops on Monday, January 31, from 6:15 to 8:15 PM, continuing on the following Wednesday, Monday, and Wednesday nights (Feb 2, 7 and 9th). TASTE OF MATAMOROS - FEBRUARY 4
In 2003 we attended the Taste of Matamoros. It was $8 per person with free food, drink and entertainment. It is sponsored by the Matamoros Restaurant Association and is held at the Ricardo Flores Magon High School. Busses take you from the International Bridge to the school for free. Hope to have a group to go together.

NEW COMPUTER AND MONITORS
I ordered a Dell desktop, 19" LCD monitor and 19" TV/LCD monitor on November 16 and received the computer and LCD on the 7th of January and the TV/LCD on the 14th of January, two months after I ordered it. I still have not gotten the TV working, but it is nice having a 19" LCD. Pam wants me to sell the old desktop and 17" LCD but I have trouble parting with my stuff!

COMPUTER LAB PROGRESS
Work continues to connect the computers to the internet to use for high speed internet surfing and downloading large files.
Helen started the beginners classes Monday morning. I overheard one of the students raving about the classes that she could understand what Helen was talking about.

OVER 570 FOR BREAKFAST
Every Saturday I help with serving breakfast in the rec hall from 7:30 to 9 AM. Last Saturday we out did ourselves, serving over 570 customers. Maybe everyone came to try out the new chairs. I served coffee in the past and now everyone asks what my job is now that we have self serve coffee machines. I just tell them I am like the WalMart greeter. One day I wore a "Full Service" sign and poured coffee for those wishing to have full service.
