2006 TASTE OF MATAMOROS "GREAT"
My memories of the 2003 Taste of Matamoros were of lots of food, beer, and entertainment. This years event was far superior. There were so many restaurants with so much food, there were hardly any lines. This year there were 25 people from FunNSun, maybe we can get 100 next year.
Matamoros had trolleys on their side of the bridge, with guides in yellow shirts selling tickets and loading the trolleys. The trolleys went right to the park. Everything was very well organized.

SAVE VALENTINE'S DAY FOR "RV Park: THE MOVIE"
Bruce Nelson's "RV Park: The Movie" will have it's world premier at FunNSun in the Rec hall on February 14th, 2006 at 7 PM. Bruce and many others at FunNSun have worked on the filming for two years. All the cast is from the park so many of your friends will be in it (including the manager). Lets have a big turnout!

PAM'S SURGERY
Pam went to bed Saturday night, at midnight, feeling fine, At 1:40 AM Sunday, January 15, she awoke with great pain in her stomach. By 7 AM she said she needed to go to the hospital.
We were lucky to get to the emergency room during a lull, and only waited 5 minutes to be seen. She was then seen by a doctor and diagnosed with an internal hernia. About noon she was seen by the surgeon, Dr. Ann McCracken, and at 2 PM went into surgery. The surgeon told me at 3:20 that she was fine, and could line dance in two weeks, and would be back to normal in six weeks.
It has been three weeks, and she is doing well. She runs out of energy but that should be cleared up in three weeks. Today she line danced and is showing signs of recovery.

I have been helping George and Lynn serve lunch on in the Rec Hall. Each Tuesday the Lunch Crew serves pulled pork sandwiches, hamburgers, polish sausage and hot dogs (a different three out of the four each week)
