CAUTION WHEN DRAGGING AND DROPPING
When we go to drag and drop something using the mouse, there is always the chance our finger will come off the mouse button too soon and we will drop the item in the wrong place. If it is a file and we drop it in the wrong folder, we may have a hard time finding where we left it if we even notice it went astray. Liz mentioned using the right mouse button to drag and drop instead of the left one, as you are then asked if you want to move, or copy the item and you can cancel and start over if you are not sure you put it in the right spot.

EXTENDED AND CREDIT CARD WARRANTEES
When considering purchasing an extended warranty, remember most credit cards double the warranty for items you purchase on their card. You may be paying twice for the same service. Pam's laptop has a problem and it is past the original manufacturer's warranty but I called and got an application from Master Card for reimbursement under the extended warranty. They said I can have it repaired any place and don't have to send it back to the factory service center.

PLEASE DON'T PASS ON HOAXES
I have received the same hoax about removing the ‘jdbgmgr.exe' file twice in two days. This is a hoax that has been around a long time and many people have removed a file that Windows uses. Don't pass anything that says ‘send to all in your address book' and tell your friends the same.

NEVER TOO LATE
Went to a picnic on South Padre Island and to our surprise, it was a surprise baby shower for one of the ladies. The couple were excited about the bibs, diapers, and rubber hippo they received as gifts, along with a lot of teasing. Seems she had gone shopping and purchased a nice new top for herself, but when she got home she saw it had a tag that it was a maternity top. You can never be too careful. I won't mention any names, Mrs. H.

THE NEWS NOTES ARE BACK
Elaine kept asking where the NewsNotes were, I felt guilty, but I had plenty of excuses. I sold my computer and got the NewsNotes E-mail addresses messed up. Fat Wallet had so many deals I was too busy tracking them down. I bought so much stuff from Fat Wallet I needed to sell some of it. On and on and on. But since AOL shuts down my account and makes me change passwords if I don't send one out a month, I did have a deadline, so here it is. You can tell by the length it is long overdue.

RED LOBSTER CHEESE BISCUITS AND OTHER RECIPES FOR FAVORITE DISHES
When posting on Fat Wallet about the all you can eat shrimp deal at Red Lobster and bragging about how many they had eaten (200 was the tops, I think), one poster mentioned their favorite was the cheese biscuits.
