TASTE OF MATAMOROS TODAY
There will be busses at the bridge to take us to and from the Magon School for the Taste of Matamoros. I talked to Andres and he will have his bus, and Mr. Garcia said his busses would also run Friday night. We are going to meet in the FunNSun parking lot at 5 PM and drive to the University of Brownsville, park and walk across the bridge to the busses. I will leave maps at gate security if anyone comes late. There will be tickets at the door for $8.
There were 69 of us that attended the taste of Brownsville and had a great time. This should be as good or better, with free food, cocktails, Folkloric dancers, Mariachi, and much more.

The ticket for the Taste of Matamoros is in Spanish so Bruce and I typed the words into FREETRANSLATION.COM and found that ‘lugar' is ‘place'.
I then put in the message on the tickets:

I wonder what the surprises are. I also received an E-mail with pictures from Andres. I had given him my card with my E-mail address. It seems strange to be sending E-mail to someone in a different country that we just met in passing. I E-mailed back to find out what ‘unicamente' is. He sent back:
‘Okay unicamente it has no translation into English but, I´m talking literally but it is something like exclusive or only for your self, something like that'

STYLE SHOW IN THE PARK
I volunteered to be in the Ladies Style show February 7th. I had thought it was the pot luck and I will do anything for food, but it was catered and I had to pay, too. The clothes came from Beals, not the Big and Tall Shop. I told them I didn't pick out my clothes, but Jan was still upset that she had to pick out my shirts after she saw what I picked out.
