I have been getting on the internet at 350 to 450 kbps, which is 10 to 15 times what I was getting using dialup. It is plug and play, but does come with a CD with a software program for a signal strength and diagnostic display. An ethernet cable is included to connect the modem to the eathernet connection on the computer and it has it's own power supply.
One nice thing is that you sign up month-to-month, so you can tailor it to your needs. You don't require a telephone line or an Internet Service Provider (ISP), saving you money.
To get the service, get one of their modems from me (lot J-147) and call Rioplexwireless with your credit card # and the modem#, or pick up a modem at their office at 4800 N. 23rd in McAllen. Activation is quick and you are on-line.
